Low Carb Chili Meat

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs ground beef 
  • 3 green bell peppers (chopped) 
  • 2 tomatoes (chopped) 
  • 1 15oz can diced tomatoes 
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced) 
  • Half onion (chopped) 
  • 1 1/2 cup Chicken broth (didn’t have beef broth) 
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 6oz can of tomato paste 
  • Salt (season to taste) 
  • Pepper(season to taste) 
  • Cumin (season to taste) 
  • Chipotle chili powder (season to taste) 
  • Cayenne pepper (season to taste) 
  • Garlic powder (season to taste) 
  • Onion powder (season to taste) 
  • Dried oregano (season to taste)

Topping: 

  • 1 Net Carb spinach tortillas 
  • (Sliced and fried for tortilla chips season with salt and pepper) 
  • Sliced Jalapeños 
  • Diced onion 
  • Mild cheddar cheese 
  • Cilantro

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare all ingredients
  2. In a pot on medium heat add avocado oil and sauté onion, garlic until cooked, then add bell peppers and cook for 3 mins. Season with salt, pepper, cumin, and chipotle chili. 
  3. Add meat and cook until brown. 
  4. Add tomatoes stir. Then add paste, Worcestershire sauce, seasonings, and broth. Mix and cook on low heat for 2 hours.

Serve and add your favorite toppings!!
